Avery Sunshine has a unique style that combines R&B with gospel, soul music and R&B. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway up to The Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine Her real name is Denise White. While she now lives in Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical experience began at the church, where she sang as well as played piano. Her music career started in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. Sunshine was at the center of attention for the nation during 4 performances a day during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being invited to sing for President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
